What an honor it was to be a part of this absolutely epic event in Arizona! Dan and Liz are two of the most kind, inviting and truly fun people to be around. Dan is originally from Colorado and Liz is from Michigan. They recently relocated to Mesa, Arizona from Florida but despite being a distance to travel, the amount of friends and family that made the trek to see them is a true testament to who they are. They are a magnetic couple who love each other beyond words and others almost equally.
Saguaro Lake Resort was such a perfect venue for the wedding! Not only was it a to-die-for setting for the ceremony and reception, in the desert on a river with cliffs in the background, but the onsite housing and facilities made it so easy to spend lots of quality time with all the guests. You guys…there was river tubing, hiking, yoga and bonfires…how good is that?
I also had the pleasure of shooting this event with my dear friend Katy of Katy O Photo. She’s one of the best, seriously, you should check her out!
Dan and Liz, I feel so blessed to know you and have been a part of your love story, thank you for inviting Katy and I along. It was truly an unforgettable event!

They had a local vegan restaurant cater all the food and it was some of the best grub I’ve ever had!!!
The morning of the wedding we started with a hike and then followed that up with some yoga out on the lawn.
Yoga the morning of your wedding is a fantastic idea people!
